I am Russell Dehart, I worked for GM (Sunset) Dealer Group from 1991-2000. Ended as the Shop Foreman for the Saturn Franchise.
After I opened up my own Shop as, Doctor-D, In Gulf Gate by the Shell Gas Station. We service cars from 2000-2018 until I was retired non voluntary due to a vehicle accident and health issues. I helped many people in Sarasota , with Honest repairs and Fair pricing. I was out of service for several years recovering from my accident/ health issues.
I am now proud to announce Doctor-D is Still alive and back in business! Age effects us all, And I will not be doing the big tough stuff the young pups are, but I can bring you Wisdom, Experience, and Honesty.. Something I'm seeing disappear in this Country right now..
I will be working Mobile Repairs at your location, Or sometimes my location (if the problem is complex and I need my full arsenal of tools). But most things we can do on-site, assuming it is allowed in your location, If not, We can use my location.
My focus is strongly on Electronics and diagnostic. I make keys and am a certified Automotive Locksmith. I can make new keys , even if you have lost ALL of yours. I can program new Keybobs, or remotes. I specialize in Check engine lights and drivability issues that other shops have been unable to fix. Tune-up issues.
